Aim

Introducing the audience to the different methods of mathematical analysis which have many  theoretical and practical applications to engineering.

Outcome

Applying acquired knowledge for making and solving mathematical models connected to practice.

Contents

1. Elements of complex analysis: Complex numbers, complex plane, functions of complex variable, elementary complex functions, analytic functions, Cauchy-Riemann equations, harmonic functions, first derivative, conformal mapping.

2. Laplace transformations: Definition and basic properties, examples and application to differential equations.

3. Systems of ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations of first and second order

with applications.
